Open Positions
The Property Accountant will be responsible for supporting the financial analysis and performance for our portfolio of commercial properties, focusing on lease structures, tenant income, and property performance. This role will involve analyzing, monitoring and enforcing the financial aspects of commercial lease agreements. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of retail lease dynamics are important for success in the position.
· Review lease agreements ensuring rent escalations, tenant improvements, and other provisions are administered.
· Prepare tenant billings for rent, operating expense reimbursements(CAM, taxes, insurance), and other tenant-specific charges.
· Provide support to property management department in annual budgeting process.
· Process tenant payments
· Assist in the preparation of annual CAM reconciliations in compliance with lease agreements
· Familiarity with Yardi is highly desirable.
· Understanding of accounting principles related to property leasing and contract management.
